There is a post on You're Winner (whatever it's called now) and I can't read it. It shows that the page has been updated, but I can't see the post. Has this happened to anyone else?

It was mine right? It happens to me all the time.
[Quote] [Link]
It was yours.
[Quote] [Link]
Yeah this tends to happen, that's why I posted "Hmm..." as a filler so I could read it.
[Quote] [Link]
Ah ok.
[Quote] [Link]
Why did it happen? That's what I'm wondering.
[Quote] [Link]
Me too. I did put some words in a < sub > and a < sup >.

This is just a test.
[Quote] [Link]
This is the real test. I did the other one wrong.

Nothing was wrong on that one...

I have no idea what you all are talking about.

I posted something and it was on the recent forum posts on the home page. But when you clicked on it, it didn't show it.

Domi posted something in You're Winner and none of us could see it. It showed that there was a new post, but when we went into the thread to read it, there wasn't anything there.

Did that make any sense at all?

Happened to me a lot.

A quick refresh usually fixes it, or coming back after a while. Posting also shows the previous comment.
[Quote] [Link]
Yeah refreshing works, sometimes. Other times you have to get to that page another way.
[Quote] [Link]
Yes, exactly that.

I think what happens is the page stops loading in the middle of a page load when someone is posting and the post gets inserted but the thread data doesn't get updated to reflect the new post count. I can reset it manually to fix that thread, but it's rare enough that it isn't worth me finding a permanent solution.

Unless there are a bunch of these that I don't know about.
