Since I can't be the only person here with tattoos, I thought we should have a thread to show them (and really, is there an area more appropriate than hobbies? I can't think of one)

I'll go first

This was my first tattoo, which I spontaneously got the summer after a very good friend of mine died. Not only was it his nick name, but he was always full of fascinating stories and he was DM, so I thought it was appropriate.

it's based off one of mum's tattoos, so it has a connection there, but her's is two women (pregnant mother goddess and a protective tree goddess)
by combing the two, I feel like it's self empowerment, self-sufficiency, as well as the ultimate symbol of womanhood (a good gift to myself on my 18th). I also love how serene she is.
Also, the best part is she's drawn by my friend Thomas, so it's an original piece.

I completely adore that tree goddess tatoo.

If I ever had a tattoo done, I rather like this design.

I'm going to get a butterfly tribute on my left shoulderblade, my HU tat on my right shoulderblade, and the words Mo Grah and Mela on my lower stomach, just below my jean line.

I did not get the HP reference, but did think that if you got 3 of them it would look like a triforce.

I'm planning on getting a triforce on my right hand, once I turn 18 and have some spare cash.

I was thinking about getting the Triforce on my left hand, Macman. Either that or I'll get it on the left side of my chest.

I wanted to do a sword down my spine with the hilt across my shoulders, but large body tats were shot down by a certain potential life partner. *ahem*

Meh, he's letting me pierce my belly button, can't kill him. Besides, I love him, and I'll be okay without my sword. :)

I would really love a tattoo. Something meaningful - probably words. I'm thinking "Bydd Poppeth yn Iown" but I can't think of where to put it. And I really want have "perserverence" written in Japanese on the inside of my right wrist.

I like it. It looks like a tattoo someone would get on the upper arm, near the shoulder, in my opinion.

Most of my work is visible in this shot.

I'm gonna get a tattoo of a four-leaf clover with other designs around it, probably on my arm. As for bigger tattoos, I'm not really sure.
