Should I tell the story?

Also, today was the last day of school. Hooray!

Meanwhile im here waiting for friday

my last day is thursday

but half term is next week meaning a week off and then six more weeks of school left

also yes tell the story

Ok, so here's the story.

Me and my family were at the Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport. I can't remember if we were going to our gate, or coming from it, but we were there. Then, we saw these two women giggling and smiling, seeming to take a photo or video of someone. I thought it was weird, so I wanted to see who, and why, they were taking a photo of this person. 2 or 3 rows of benches away, there was this grown man playing on his DS. I assumed they were making fun of a grown man for playing on a DS or something. As I walk by, the man makes brief eye contact with me, I nod, he nods, and my family walks away.

A few months later, I found TheOdd1sOut's Youtube channel. I enjoyed the content, so I subscribed. Then, after a few months, he posts this video. Very good video, and I enjoyed it. But I noticed something. At 4:49. And, along with what he said afterwards, it clicked. Those 2 people taking photos that I saw? This was their photo. The man I saw playing on his DS? That was TheOdd1sOut himself. And I didn't even know who he was at the time.

And it gets even better. You see the boy in the grey coat walking on the left side of the screen? THAT'S ME!

Thank you, Bronco. I would've added it myself, but I am on a school computer.

So, yeah, that's how I met TheOdd1'sOut before I even knew who he was.

woah

Back from Misery Missouri, here is a very quick recap.

  • Got bread thrown at me at Lambert's Cafe. (A detour before.)
  • Went on the old Navy Pier Ferris Wheel (It lives in Branson now.)
  • Rammed a child into the wall while go-karting (He hit my mother.)
  • Did a mini golf course and lost. (The go-kart child followed us there.)
  • Tried my first alpine roller coaster. (I am deathly afraid of coasters.)
  • Went to Silver Dollar City (I mostly just held the stuff because of ^)
  • Went to Dolly Parton's Stampede. (There were a lot of horses.)
  • Went to Fantastic Caverns. (I almost bashed my head into rocks.)
  • Rode on the Branson Scenic Railroad. (My favorite part of the trip.)

This was over the course of 4 days, so this is the very shortened version.

Hey I've been to Lambert's! Good to hear they're still kicking.
I should try and find the now 10 year old mug when I get home.

I'm sure it's still the same design.

So, 2 things I want to talk about.

1. Less than a week after our first trip to all the fun places I mentioned above, we went back that way again. Here are some very quick highlights.
  • Rode my first roller coaster in a very long time. I honestly didn't hate them all that much, and would do a roller coaster another time if it doesn't look too scary.
  • Ate in a jazz club while there was apparently a fire in the kitchen, and nobody knew.
  • Stayed in a very cool cabin a hot tub and arcade cabinets.
  • Rode an electric scooter through some puddles and scraped my entire right side badly.
That's about all the fun things.

2. I've been watching a lot more documentaries, (Mostly about NASA), and I never realized how arrogant some of the NASA employees are. I mean, the Challenger disaster could've been easily avoided if NASA would've just taken the time to fix the issues with the O-ring seals. Same with Columbia, if they had just taken the time to fix the issue with the tiles. That's 14 lives that could've been saved if NASA had just slowed down and fixed the issues they'd been having for years, and not ignoring warnings that had been given to them.

Anyways, yeah. Do you have any questions for me?

what happened to the kitchen?!

IIRC, Challenger was not something that needed to be fixed, it was actually the president pressuring them to launch in unideal (too cold) conditions.

So that was less "arrogance", and more "not knowing how to say no to the president"

Should've specified, it was just a small fire. Nothing really happened.

Anyways, I am still sick, with the new symptom of not being able to hear out of my left ear at all. Why? I don't know, but it hurts very bad.

Well, I have a job interview at 3:30 tomorrow. I hope everything goes well, and I don't suddenly forget how to speak when the interviewer asks me a simple question. Then again, it's only the zoo, so I'm sure the interview questions won't be too difficult. Anything specific I should know before I get to the interview?

Do you know how to invert a singly-linked list in place?

I do not.

Must be why I didn't get the job. Ah well.
