A back to school episode just in time for the new year!

Any one reading? If so I'm looking for feedback.

I'm interested in hearing what people think of the story and where they'd like to see it go. Any tips to improve the art would be appreciated as well.

Also trying to think of other avenues for release. Where/how should I publish/advertise this? Webtoon is the most obvious, thinking about Newgrounds as well. Tapas is also on the board but I don't know too much about it.

I've been enjoying them! As far as story, I as a reader am getting the impression that the story is going somewhere, but I don't know where - do you have a rough idea/plot outline?

These three episodes are the first arc; they were mostly about playing around with the characters and getting comfortable with the format.

I'm already a few episodes into the next arc. The rest of the series will commit harder to a story and I think will be pretty different from what's happened so far.

I have a general idea for the other arcs of the first "season".

I'm down with being taken on a journey, especially as I'm still getting to know the characters and whatnot.

Are you considering hosting on a webcomic site, or making a blog?

I was looking into posting the comic to somewhere more official. Webtoon/Tapas are the big sites right now but I also have some # of followers on Newgrounds which I could try to leverage. I could also tie in self promotion posts on some of the more public Reddit and Twitter spaces.

Learning algorithms, click baiting, being a constant, inviting presence in the community, all stuff that's essential to building a brand online. Again, any advice would be appreciated because I have no taste for it whatsoever.

I have no idea of that whatsoever, I am not a creator by any means.

I do find Webtoon mildly more easy to navigate than tapas.

It looks really good to me! I don't know much about publishing tho

why not publish it in more than one place? then you have more than one opportunity and its normal to do that, your best bet is webtoons though and i think people will like it because i like it

Some News:

At Least It's Not Retail (which is the name of the comic btw) is going public; the comic will now be publishing on Webtoon and Newgrounds as well as here (links in root post). Be sure to like, comment, and subscribe for more crazy adventures!

Thanks for all the feedback everyone.

I've been meaning to say, this comic is actually pretty cool. Where did the name come from?

The original concept for this comic was that superhero-ing was a shitty job but not as bad as retail. I left the funny, relatable, minimum wage retail sucks humor behind but didn't bother thinking of a new title.

Oh no. Evil Thomas!

Did you just make a JoJo reference?

What's JoJo? I've never heard of an anime called JoJo.

Hm. I guess I was mistaken. Sorry for bothering you.

Fool. I thought because of that sharp looking profile picture you might be smarter than that. Guess I won't have to use my power「I AM THE WALRUS」after all.

Hold up. I didn't mention any anime. Yet you instantly knew that's what I was talking about!
This man is the enemy we've been looking for!
