His Imperial Majesty, dementedkermit, is satisfied with the consensus among the members of the Imperial Court. The Emperor reaches for his calligraphy brush, his yellow and black silk sleeve sliding across the table. He dips the brush's fibers in a dark, black ink and slides over a yellow cloth. The brush touches the cloth, and each stroke is visible for all to witness. As the Imperial Court watches in anticipation, the Emperor sets down the brush, picks up a jade green block, and slams it upon the cloth, leaving a red seal. He then rolls up the cloth into a scroll, and a nearby member of the Imperial Court reaches down for the cloth, unravels the scroll, turns to face the impatient room, and reads it aloud. "Imperial Edict!"

The rest of the Imperial Court gets down upon their knees in a kowtow. "By the power vested in me by Shàngdì (Heaven/God), and through the deduction of my loyal Court, I find ちょたの_chotano guilty of treason! The punishment will be simple. 死 (Sĭ)!" Death. An execution.

Desparate, ちょたの_chotano suddenly rises and draws a dagger from within her sleeve. She lunges at the unsuspecting Emperor, but luckily, guards nearby point lances in the air, and ちょたの_chotano is pierced through her abdomen. ちょたの_chotano looks up at the backing Emperor, at his eyes, and forces a bloodied smile as the dagger falls. Then the mouths shuts, her eyes close, and she collapses in a ghastly heap upon the floor. The Emperor is left frozen in shock, just as the others in the room.

Soon, someone breaks the silence, announcing "the Scourge ends!" The Imperial Court kowtows in front of the Emperor. "Wansui, wansui, wanwansui!"

ちょたの_chotano was a Vanilla Traitor.

Congratulations, the Imperial Court has executed all the Traitors! The dynasty lives on!

Antagonist, please open the Corpse Chat for everyone: game9corpsechat.freeforums.net

i still dont understand how to use the corpse chat

Ask Antagonist then.

bug you played very well.

no i didnt i lost like a little loser

Fun Facts
  • On Day 1, contrary to Anty’s belief, the first Traitor note was, in fact, written by jaded. Actually, all the notes apart from the last one were by jaded.
  • On Night 2, the Traitors were not blocked; they simply decided to skip an assassination.
  • yeah and blon had a lucky streak with their night targets this game.
  • 0blivion, the Prime Minister, didn't win as they chose chotano to survive until the end of the game.
  • Guard (Tinny) went before Candlemaker (Anty), and they kept choosing the same night targets so often.
  • On Day 4, which lasted like 7 hours, the Imperial Court did so much random accusation at everyone else until they all realized that everybody got blocked and had a collective moment of genius. Eventful for a short day.
  • The Emperor, dementedkermit, was only protected on one night

What a game to spectate! So much discussion that ended up distilling out all the lies. Well played to the Imperial Court!

I've got a drastic idea for a mafia game, so if I run it, it'll likely be in a new thread. I loved having more player interaction during the game (like making desserts or choosing bodies to search), so my game would be revolving around a group of Investigators searching a neighborhood for signs of the Occult. The day phase would have more investigative segments that would give more player choice. Thoughts?

that collected moment of genius my life flashed before my eyes

One moment, you were doing fine and feeling like a Mafia master while they accused each other. The next moment, they voted for you all of a sudden.

I think I deserve credit for discovering bug considering I targeted him earlier and found he was warlord And made the connection that he was mafia because the kill still got through, Everybody else just realized that my logic was correct

If one more person voted noiwillnot, the game may have taken a different path.

I would like to join if you follow through!

well fun fact blon i was going to kill you but then cho said that yeah had better roles and so we went with yeah but i knew i should've killed you

I might try Math's game if it's in another thread. I'm free to host just another Mafia game here in the meantime, maybe with a completely different theme I want to try out.

That Evil Duo theme is really nagging at me.

The most impressive thing is that Antagonist stayed alive for most of the game.

I might try hosting a mafia game once I refine my role list

I was too busy to come back in and vote Cho but I'm so glad we won! We super deserved it! It doesn't surprise me that anty and I had similar strategies

I also suspected Cho first, blocked her the first night and everything. I wish I had pushed harder but I was worried everyone would be suspicious of me.

That was fun to spectate. Good game y'all.

if i am being honest i had no clue what was happening, I let other people think for me. I couldn't associate the new names for roles to what they do

Be more confident.

i was confident 2 rounds ago, look what happened

I survived because I wasn't a threat.

I think Tinny managed to block me like half the game.

if i didnt use warlord do you think we wouldve won

Sorry for blocking you so much! Great minds, I guess?

Possibly. Blon did a great job.

Agreed. If Blon didn't know you were warlord you would've gotten away with it that round. So I think that wasn't the problem, bug. You were fighting a pretty skilled group of town. Anty and I didn't even do much.

well every time i play these types of games im always evil the first time i play. literally every time
