It’s fun to be evil.
its scary and hard
Ok next game you’ll likely have the chance to play with all goodie side.
You running another game, kid?
Yeah. I want to try a theme where I can use normal role names more. Duo’s Arena. Duo’s Lab. Duo’s Testing Zone. Duo’s Experiments.

Just Duo deciding to simulate a mafia game with its victims. it should be simpler to understand than Imperial Machinations.

60's Mafia to be hosted on this thread. The role list is long, but not all of them will be used.
yay we won that was so fun. I was so relieved when you guys didn't kill me
It is very cute that 0blivion picked chotano.

Oops I looked for your pronouns instead
Yeah I thought that's also why oblivion came off suspicious was because he was defensive of Cho. Very sweet
Also I'm enthused that my random gunning for jaded turned out to be correct.
ngl I was a little confused when you just immediately voted jaded, I was thinking it was an inside joke or something
It was. It was just lucky.
If I recall correctly, jaded was the one who killed me first for the third game in a row. That's why.
Fun facts from my end:
  • I was on TwoCans a lot less than usual (keeping busy with school) so lots of times me "not saying much" was just my own dumb fault

  • The last kill was based on the fact someone was probably protecting blon

  • And the first kill would have been Willy but she's only ever been nice to me and I would have felt bad :(
It's tough being so intimidating folks kill you immediately.
No!!!!!!!!!! I had created a whole game with a new theme and then I accidentally refreshed it and it all is gone now!!!!!!! It took sooooo long.

Ok well that was a fail.

I'll host Imperial Machinations II.

Imperial Machinations II

Months ago, cries rang from his late imperial majesty's bed. Now, there is a child emperor upon the Dragon Throne. He is weak and sickly; a succession crisis looms. Soon, there are rumors within the imperial court of a plot against the Emperor, yet it is unknown who is behind it.

Players will be divided into two teams: the Imperial Court (Town) and the Traitors (Mafia).
  • The Imperial Court wins when all of the Traitors have been executed.
  • The Traitors win when they are equal in number to the members of the Imperial Court.

The timeline is the same as before, 48-hour days and 24-hour nights. The Traitors may select someone to assassinate each night. The Court will gather each day to figure out who has committed treason and shall be executed.

Consequential Roles
  • Assigner (change the role of any target other than Emperor permanently; one-time use)
  • Candlemaker (protector role; can place candles in a person's room that die out quickly, thus preventing any visitor action)
  • Concubine (watcher role; spends the night with any person; will see anyone who visits and leave right after)
  • Emperor (their heavenly vote counts as 2 votes rather than 1; the role is public; cannot be first kill)
  • Empress Dowager (will be able to use a random role every night because they have the power to do so)
  • Guard (keep a person safe in their room at night and prevent them from leaving)
  • Imperial Tailor (hide an identification powder in a person's clothing to find where they go in the night)
  • Maid (martyr/harlot role; stays with people at night but will be sacrificed if a Traitor targets the person they go to, allowing the person to escape while the Maid dies; dies if the target is a Traitor )
  • Nosy Eunuch (peaks into a window of a person each night and obtains either their faction or their role)
  • Tea Maker (replaces a person's bedtime tea with wine instead, getting them disoriented, changing their possible target)
  • Warlord (can use the Imperial Army to prevent every night action once a game; cannot be blocked when they use the army; when having another role, they block all other players' roles while simultaneously performing their own night action. It can be either a member of the Imperial Court or a Traitor.)

Inconsequential Roles
  • Edict Forger (sends fake Imperial edicts anonymously to be read; can be used as much as wanted during the day)
  • Pastry Enthusiast (gives one person a tasty and exotic pastry at night)

Neutral Roles:
  • Pauper (Beggar disguised as a member of the Imperial Court. Wins if alive at the end.)
  • Prime Minister (chooses a person on Night 0; wins if target doesn’t die)

IMPORTANT Notes: If both the Emperor and Heir die, then the Emperor's role is vacant because there is clearly no need to place someone on the throne to get them killed. If a method of death is not chosen, I will create one myself. A night message is optional, as is a daytime message. The Emperor and the Heir cannot be a Traitor. If the Emperor turns out to be female, I will refer to them as Empress Regnant instead.

A person with a neutral role cannot have any other role. A person with a consequential role role may have an added semi or inconsequential role.

Multiple people can have the same role.

That's Mathy's game.

I'm extending the signup time to be longer. Signups are open indefinitely at this moment. Maybe a week or two.
I'm in.
Can you add the winner of Imperial Machinations I?
