6. Butt

Are you the person who is asking all those questions about butts in the Q&A?

No. I am not that "person".

person in quotes is apt. My QnA troll streak does not define me as a person.

You called it.

Avatar was pretty amazing.

The story and acting was terrible. I've seen turnips that are more interesting than avatar.

I thought Kevin Costner did a really good job in Avatar.

I'm glad they bypassed all the complex questions of sentience. Can you imagine the ethical questions of whether that clone of big blue Navajo is his own person? Every other story about a clone like Schwarzenegger in the Sixth Day brings up compelling questions about sentience and personhood and what it is to be an individual. Fortunately, this alien primate with a functioning brain has no individuality of its own and can be turned on and off like a machine. However, it works without the remote device after the end ritual so the brain was fully functional and working.

Even pulp stories about a spirit possessing someone like in Dragon Age or Supernatural address, occasionally, that the vessel was its own person before someone took it over.

Luckily, Avatar skipped all that and got right to the big trees.

That battle scene was horrible. Easily the worst battle scene I have ever seen in a movie since John Wayne in The Conqueror. The only cool part was that awesome mech suit, but the bad guy never got do do really badass things with it. It would've been way more realistic if the mech suit guys were cutting through the blue Indians like a scythe through grass, I guess that wouldn't have been as happy, though.

I think Avatar's really only notable because it was technically impressive in terms of visuals. Otherwise it's a mediocre and mostly forgettable movie.

I'll leave this here.

Archer Season Rankings

After this season my new season rankings are as follows:

A Tier

1. Season 2

2. Season 3

3. Dreamland

4. Vice

5. Season 4

B Tier

6. Danger Island

7. Season 1

8. Season 7

9. Season 11

C Tier

10. Season 6

11. 1999

Keep in mind B tier Archer is still top notch television. Season 6 and 1999 are the only 2 that I skip episodes when watching. Season 6 has 5 episodes that I’ll usually skip. 1999 I feel has really only 4 or 5 good episodes

New list soon. Fav animated series.

The four animated series on my big list of films and ratings which are ranked higher than a 5/10:

1. One Punch Man (9/10)
SEASON 1 ONLY.
Animation is 11/10. The only other show on this list even close is Mob Psycho. Then it's miles before the next one.
The writing isn't too deep or thought provoking, but parody is bread and butter for me. While I wouldn't call OPM a parody, its writing style is perfectly in line with what I watch for fun.

2. King of the Hill (7/10, pushes an 8)
Seen all episodes up to season 6. Scattered episodes after.
Trying to make something this down to earth consistently funny is something a lot of other cartoons have tried and failed to do. KOTH is not only king of the hill, it's the only one on it.

3. Mob Psycho (7/10, pushes a 6)
11/10 animation.
In a more objective world, Mob Psycho would top OPM but I just like OPM a lot more. Mob Psycho has its moments though.

4. Bee and PuppyCat (6/10)
This show nails the surrealist kind of sad but also funny feel.
It's also the only show I know of that looks and feels the way it does.
It also exists even though I suspect it's highly unmarketable.
Finally, I only just finished watching this (almost) and I suffer a lot from recency bias.
For those reasons, it stands above the average for me.

In no particular order from the 5/10s:

5. JJBA: Diamond is Unbreakable
My favorite part is where Rohan's house catches on fire.

6. The Owl House
The only series in this new wave of TV series I watched all the way through.

7. Spongebob Squarepants
Only familiar with season 1-3.
I don't know if it's true that the later seasons are garbage, it's just that usually around season 3 I've seen all the episodes I want to see.

8. Madness Combat
A bit of a cheat, I'm more closely affiliated with the spin off Maximum Ninja and only just got around to watching the real thing.

9. School of Mages
I think this series was made by a 13 year old who watched a lot of anime and played a lot of JRPGs. It's perfect; I wish I could make something this entertaining, even in my 20s.

2 of these are on my list. Working on the list now. An honorable mention: Wallace and Gromit. 4 Short Films that aired on TV don't make a series, but I love W&G so much. Curse of the Wererabbit is my mt shortlist of fav animated movie ever.

J-Rob's Top 25 Favorite Animated Series

#25 Sonic the Hedgehog AKA Sonic SatAM (1993-1994

My favorite cartoon intro as a kid.

#24 Harley Quinn (2019-Present)

Watched with my daughter. Really funny. Really gross. Great representation.

#23 Rick and Morty (2013-Present)

Innovative and funny. Bit too bleak. Fanbase is a turnoff. There's also another show that does similar things better.

THE KITTENS

Kittens?

Posting multiple times in a row kills kittens exponentially.

I forget where this started, but it might have been Arale's Basement group that did it.
