ForumTechnical Corner ► 1440 vs 1080
I have been shopping for a monitor, and have 2 deciding factors, the first being resolution. I have a gtx 1660ti, and am wondering how that would handle 1440 vs 1080p. While I would like the extra resolution, I am wondering if the performance impacts would be worth it. They are both 165 hz and have g-sync.

what is your budget?

$600,000

Budget isn't a factor, i know of 2 monitors, 1 1080, and one 1440, i was curious about the performance impacts

You could save a bit of money by going with 1080p depending on your choice, high frame rates or high resolutions. There's a pretty big difference between 1080p and 1440p. A 1660 ti might get you around 60 fps or higher throughout most AAA games.

Yup
